1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and maintain secure sessions. This policy describes how CCed uses cookies and similar technologies.
2. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for CCed to function and cannot be disabled:
- Session token — maintains your authenticated session (7-day expiry)
- CSRF token — protects against cross-site request forgery
- Supabase auth cookies — managed by our authentication provider for secure login
3. Functional Cookies
- Mode preference — remembers your selected mode (Founder or Developer)
- UI state — preserves interface preferences across sessions
4. Analytics Cookies
CCed does not currently use analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and seek your consent before placing analytics cookies on your device.
5. No Advertising Cookies
CCed does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, cross-site tracking, or any marketing technology. We do not build advertising profiles or share data with ad networks.
6. Local Storage
CCed uses sessionStorage to cache coverage data and audit state in your browser. This data is cleared when you close the tab and is never transmitted to our servers.
7. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent CCed from functioning correctly, including login and audit features.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies evolves. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice.
